This project came about through David Chen of Handle With Care. David was designing the three-way system for Protean Practice, Saji Abude's Design Agency, for its first residential project. David designed not only the system but also the speakers themselves, and brought us on to design and fabricate the horns.

We both decided that the LA 600 horn model was the best fit, not only for the system's functionality but also for the speaker design and the space itself. That's where the decision was made to move forward with the special resin material, allowing the horns to complement the character of both the speakers and the space.
The resin material was a fun challenge. The clear finish achieved was something incredibly difficult to get done. A lot of finishing techniques and manual labor was needed to get these horns finished like that. These were a limited run of 3 horns for Saji´s 3 point system designed by David. Available upon inquiry.
