CARACAS BAKERY
For this project we collaborated with Jesús Brazon, owner of Caracas Bakery, to create a set of custom horns for his commercial spaces. CSU — Caracas Sound Units — are his own custom made speakers. We provided the horn. Jesús had the vision for his spaces, we made the horns that completed the build.

The LS-1090 is based on the Western Electric KS12025. The 12025 was an 80° horizontal dispersion horn, but given the spaces the speakers would be in, we wanted to design a horn with the geometries and character of the KS12025 mixed with some design elements from the Altec 311-90. The result is a true 1000 Hz cutoff, 90° horizontal dispersion horn for use with a 1" driver.
